The Town of Naicam contracts a third party building inspector, Municode, to enforce code and regulations. This service is in place to enforce municipal building bylaws, The Uniform Building and Accessibility Standards (UBAS) Act, and the National Building Code of Canada (NBC) as amended by the UBAS Regulations.
To submit a permit application, please fill out the applicable application form and submit all required drawings and worksheets to the Town Office along with your permit application fee. Once received in full, the Town will review the documents and will be in contact with you for next steps. An application will not be reviewed or processed until the application fee is paid in full. Worksheets and checklists exist to aid you in determining your applicable value of construction and making sure you have included everything you need with your application.
