The Town of Naicam has multiple opportunities for residents and visitors to enjoy recreational and cultural activities in and around Town. There are also plenty of recreational, cultural and historic amenities and facilities, many of which are available for rent for private functions and fundraising events.

Sportsgrounds

Naicam has one ball diamond located near the two ball diamonds at Naicam School.
Golf in Women’s & Men’s Leagues or by the hour from November 1 to April 30
Naicam’s challenging nine hole golf course is located 1.6 km east of town

Naicam’s arena is available for hockey, figure skating, and general skating. There is also a 3 sheet curling rink and a mezzanine. This facility is wheelchair accessible. Contact the arena caretaker at 306-874-8032. Check out our Facility Rentals page for more information.

Pavilion

Naicam’s pavilion is an outdoor covered picnic and event space with concrete floor located at the corner of Centre Street and 2nd Ave N. This facility is available for public use at no cost on a first come first served basis, however it is often used for community events. Please check the community event calendar for availability.
Lake Charron is located 13 km east of Naicam. It has a large beautiful sandy beach with a beach volley ball net, picnic area, 10 site group camping, and barbecue facilities. A sheltered outdoor pavilion provides the ideal location for family reunions, dances and large group activities during the summer. Lake front leased lots and seasonal campsites may be available.
