How to calculate your property taxes in just four simple steps:

  1. Taxable Assessment x Mill Rate / 1000 = Initial Levy
  2. Initial Levy x Mill Rate Factor = Municipal Levy
    • If the amount you calculated for your municipal levy is below the minimum tax listed above, you must pay the minimum tax amount. If your Municipal Levy is above the minimum, you must pay the calculated Municipal Levy amount.
  3. Taxable Assessment x School Tax Mill Rate = School Tax Levy
  4. Add your Municipal Levy amount to your School Tax Levy amount to calculate your total taxes owed.

Disconnect & Reconnect: $25 fee to disconnect or reconnect water service.
