Fire Ban Issued for the Town of Naicam

A total fire ban has been implemented in the Town of Naicam due to dry conditions.

This requires all outdoor fires to be extinguished and the lighting of any is prohibited. The ban does not allow for any open fires within the Town.

The following are included in the ban: fire pits, burning barrels, controlled burns and fireworks. There is an exception for gas-fuelled equipment such as propane barbecues.

The ban will remain in effect until further notice.


Water Service Notice

For Monday, April 8, 2019 between 5 pm and 10 pm, users will experience extremely low water pressure to due scheduled water plant repairs. Once the pressure is back up please run your cold water for a few minutes before running any hot water as there may be some discolouration.

Assessment Roll Open

Notice is hereby given that the Assessment Roll for the Town of Naicam for 2019 has been prepared and is open to inspection for the next 30 days at the office of the Administrator of the municipality at 208 2nd Ave N, Naicam, SK from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, from April 3 to May 8, 2019.

A bylaw pursuant to section 214 of The Municipalities Act has been passed and the assessment notices have been sent as required.

Any person who desires to appeal the assessment of a property must lodge his or her complaint in writing with the associated appeal fee before 4:30 pm on May 8, 2019. Appeal fees are $50 for residential properties and $150 for commercial/industrial properties. To file your appeal, present your completed appeal form with the associated fee to the Assessor, at the Town of Naicam, P.O. Box 238, (208 2nd Ave N) Naicam, SK, S0K 2Z0, by May 8, 2019.
